As many of you know, RockRevolt™Magazine changed over to our new name in Mid-October 2012. It was a crazy time (and still is), but we managed to keep the REVOLT going – interviewing your favorite bands, keeping up with news, album reviews and tours on the webzine, publishing the 1st Digital Magazine Issue and of course covering live shows!   

Our Photo Editor, Josh Rienecke, did a kickass job of getting down and dirty in the pit at as many shows as possible to capture some amazing photos over the past three months.  

We asked him to put together a compilation of some of his favorite shots.  Some are for obvious reasons:  they’re just straight up “money shots” while others he was more drawn to with an artistic eye for lighting, aesthetic reasons or just the look on the musician’s face.  

Regardless, we think you’ll agree – there are some BADASS pictures here!   So enjoy as you peruse  through the Fall of 2012 and feast your eyes upon – the Best Rock Photos of 2012 – ROCKREVOLT style!
