Bill Oberst Jr. is a multifaceted thespian with a unique physique and innate talent to take on roles that make our souls cringe. He starred in an interactive web-film called Take that Lollipop, for which he won a Daytime Emmy in 2012. (Click that link – it’s pretty cool). His resume of films, shorts, and projects is extensive. Visiting his IMDB page is like walking into the Library of Congress. It just keeps going and going and going. The man is an acting powerhouse.

No. This is the Santa that makes you BELIEVE deep down in your soul that the jolly gift-giving Saint Nicholas IS real and walking among us.

Sound City has also been confirmed to premiere at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. The film tells the story of Sound City, the legendary Van Nuys recording studio, and was inspired when Grohl purchased the Neve 8028 recording console built in 1972 from the studio (and his personal connection to Sound City began in 1991 when Nirvana recorded Nevermind there).

Dave Grohl’s making his debut as a feature documentary director / producer with his film Sound City, inspired after purchasing the same recording console used in the legendary Van Nuys CA studio of the same name. The console was built in 1972 and is considered to be the crown jewel of analog recording equipment and has captured artists such as Johnny Cash, Neil Young, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, Guns and Roses, Nirvana, Metallica and TONS of other musical legends.
