Be a Contributing Photographer - ROCKREVOLT™ Magazine

Basic Information:

ROCK REVOLT™ is seeking photographers who love music and are passionate about live concert photography. Shooting for RR offers an excellent opportunity to expand your portfolio and gain experience working with the photo department at a major online/digital/print publication.

Only applicants possessing intermediate to advanced skills in concert/live photography will be considered.

Applicants must be located within a close proximity of a major city throughout the United States to be able to attend and shoot live shows on assignment and possess above-average Lightroom/Photoshop and computer skills will be considered. Working knowledge of WordPress is a plus.

ROCK REVOLT™ does not compensate photographers at this time for basic shoots, but you will be given the opportunity to shoot artists in a live concert environment, provided with a press photo pass, learn how to submit your photos properly for publication and given credit for your work. We will also provide a link to your photography website to help promote your individual business. Photos will be published either on our website, digital magazine or print magazine at Editors discretion.

    Hey there..Is there a time frame in which you’ll get back to those who submitted an application? :) It’s been a week and I haven’t heard back from you. I’m sure you get alot of submissions so I’m hoping something will come back soon. :)

    Hi there! I just sent Josh an e-mail. I am located an hour away from Ft. Wayne Indiana and Chicago. I am in South Bend, IN. So if you all ever need someone to shoot shows in those areas or even Indy let me know.

    I’m headed to ‘Best Live Band of 2013′ ROB ZOMBIE tonight. I e-mailed Josh and hope to hear from him (or anyone) before the show. RZ is ALWAYS an amazing show. If you don’t have anyone shooting it, I have my NIKON IN TOW and am available!

      We actually JUST shot some RZ on Friday and Saturday, and we put requests in for those shows MONTHS ago. A couple of hours prior to the show is not going to yield a photopass I’m afraid.
      That being said, RZ is AMAZING! We’ll take a look at your work and see if there is somewhere else we could plug you in.
