CONCERT PHOTOS: THERE IS NO US

“There Is No Us is a social movement to expose the failure of the human race” states the Facebook page of this new music project from the masterminds of Andy Gerold and Jim Louvau. Joined by bassist extraordinaire Amy Abramite, There Is No Us rocked their debut show at Vinyl in Las Vegas this past Monday. However, this wasn’t just any debut show. The band set themselves up for quite a feat… having never played the songs in the same room together. The musicians have been separated by states, and played in unison for the first time at their, well, first show. On top of that, the band had only officially released two songs! In the midst of these rather unique circumstances, There Is No Us performed very well, had a phenomenal response from concert goers, and are setting themselves up for quite an interesting future.

About Anabel (41 Articles)
Anabel Dflux is a California native who prefers to spend her evenings at concerts with metalheads and Hollywood transplants, with her trusty camera in hand. In 2009 she started her own photography business on a whim and a wish, and has since gone on to photograph and document hundreds of bands on the infamous Los Angeles streets. Having been an animal event photographer before getting roped into the music world, Anabel partners her past experience of photographing action to capturing excitable musicians on camera. The intense passion of the crowd and stage presence of the musicians makes photographing concerts one of the most amazing experiences in the world. Her goal has always been to capture the atmosphere through the lens; she wants people to feel that energy!
