FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH & VOLBEAT ANNOUNCE NEW TOUR DATES
FIVE NEW TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED
Global rock heavyweights Five Finger Death Punch and Volbeat will be on a tear across the Midwest come fall, adding 5 more dates to their already-packed double-bill tour schedule. Among the notable new stops added are Detroit, Oklahoma City, and Wichita.
Kick-off for this mega-rock tour will be September 16 at Maverik Center in Salt Lake City and will close out October 24 in Las Vegas at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. This musical meal will be spiced with special support from Hellyeah, as well opener Nothing More.
To say 5FDP have been on a roll is an understatement. Their albums “The Wrong Side of Heaven And The Righteous Side of Hell” Vol. 1 & Vol. 2 (released four months apart) were global hits. Both debuted on the U.S. Billboard album chart at No. 2 and brought with them a No. 1 single, the introspective “Lift Me Up” featuring Judas Priest’s Rob Halford for the former, and the fiery “Battle Born” for the latter.
They shows no signs of slowing (and really, who wants that anyway?). After performing shows in Australia and Southeast Asia, they recently concluded a sold-out European tour on their way to their North American fall tour. They released Their current single, an inspired cover of the classic “House of the Rising Sun.” My two cents? It plays like a mini-movie, as good music videos should. I recommend you check it out.
Meanwhile, partner-in-touring-crime, Danish rockers Volbeat celebrate their own release “Outlaw Gentleman & Shady Ladies.” They’ve been on their own epic tour journey, performing for over one million fans since the album’s release in April 2013.
Special guests Hellyeah and Nothing More also have their fourth albums coming out this summer. Hellyeah will release “Blood and Blood” on June 10 and Nothing More will release their self-titled album on June 24.
Tickets for previous tour dates are already on sale. Tickets for the new dates will go on sale this Friday and Saturday, June 6 and 7.
