The VIP experience includes early entry to the show, a meet and greet with the band and an autographed commemorative poster. Kamelot Silverthorn LPSilverthorn is available in four exclusive formats. The double LP version is a gatefold on colored vinyl. The digital version is available on iTunes. KAMELOT have held their own, very special position in the world of rock and heavy music: their elaborate melodic metal has always opened itself in a remarkably clever way to like-minded styles, integrating progressive elements as well as cross-references to doom/gothic metal and classical music, which have allowed their songs to define their own genre. Two of their most successful releases in particular, namely the albums Karma (2001) andThe BlackHalo(2005), are prime examples of KAMELOT’s multi-layered approach, intensity and outstanding musicality. Silverthorn, sees the band raise this demanding standard even higher, because Silverthornis a masterpiece of grand gestures, gritty melodies and haunting atmospheres. See KAMELOT on tour, click HERE. SLINGSHOT DAKOTA Announce Dates for U.S. Spring Tour

Slingshot Dakota Bethlehem, PA indie pop duo SLINGSHOT DAKOTA have announced dates for their spring tour which kicks off April 13 in Greenville, NC. See dates below. Carly Comando and Tom Patterson are two people who carry the weight of an entire band. Their set-up is simple: Carly is on keys and Tom plays drums. They do things with these instruments that most bands can’t do with a standard set up: they cram the sonic space they are in. Originally this was actually the case as they began as a three-piece featuring Jeff Cunningham and Latterman’s Pat Schramm. But narrowing it down to a duo in 2006 did no harm; Carly’s keyboard seems to take on the role of several more people as it adds multiple dimensions to their sound. 2008’s Their Dreams are Dead, but Ours is the Golden Ghost was a seminal release for their entry onto the scene. With Carly from Long Island and Tom from the Lehigh Valley (PA), their home-turfs both came with built-in popular support as they romped the DIY all-ages show circuit. In it, they blew away audiences with their at-times more sober lines like “I’m gonna love you till the day I die” juxtaposed with moments of their swelling pop sound. 2012’s acclaimed LP Dark Hearts found its way onto more than a few year-end lists and further cemented the duo’s standing on the indie scene. When Tom isn’t screenprinting (he does everything from gig posters to commercial ventures to fine art) and Carly isn’t music licensing, they tour the world together, bringing their charming, lo-fi pop to fans across the globe. About Johnny Price (591 Articles)
Johnny P’s picture should truly be in the dictionary next to “music lover” as he seriously personifies the very essence of the word. He lives, sleeps, eats & breathes music. When he’s not at shows conducting interviews, he’s writing out his experiences for all of you in his wonderful, down-home, “don’t need a damn thesaurus to read it” storytelling way. He is our Knight in Metal/Rock Armour, our tireless attendee of every show, and most importantly – a champion and friend to musicians at every level (he treats everyone like a rockstar!). If you ever get the chance to meet him, you’ll know by his big smile and humble southern boy charm that he is about as real and nice as they come.

WHAT SAY YOU?
