WATCH THE NEW DAVID BOWIE VIDEO “VALENTINES DAY”
David Bowie has released the latest video from his most recent album The Next Day for the song “Valentines Day.” The video was directed by Indrani and Markus Klinko and in typical Bowie fashion, it’s a little trippy, even while primarily focusing on the artist playing guitar and staring directly at the camera. Eyes like laserbeams!

‘Valentine’s Day’ will also be released as a limited-edition picture disc, which will arrive in stores with ‘Plan,’ an instrumental bonus track from ‘The Next Day,’ as the B-side.
According to Bowie’s Facebook page, “The record comes in a transparent plastic sleeve overprinted with a white square so that the disc shows through the transparent lettering.” And apparently if you stare at the cover long enough, “you can just make out what the picture on the record actually is.”
The ‘Valentine’s Day’ single will be out August 19th in the U.K. and August 20th in the U.S. and is available for pre-order in the UK here. We could not find a link for U.S. pre-sales anywhere.
